Renowned Ghanaian musician, and songwriter, Big Ghun has finally discharged his much anticipation extended play for the pleasure of his listeners which he entitled “MOE”.
After serving music enthusiasts with ‘Ex‘ and ‘Whan Boy Nie‘, versatile Ghanaian musician, Nicholas Nartey known within the music circles as Big Ghun is back with a new collective titled; ‘MOE” EP. The just-released extended play embodies five solid tracks with features from Tulenkey and Fox Beatz. “MOE” EP happens to be his 3rd official project for the year, 2021
The first song on ‘One Day‘, addresses sentiments and ignites hope to the weary, the second song, ‘Don’t Say‘ talks about the uncompassionate and rejecting nature of mankind. The third song on the EP titled, ‘Agro‘, is a fun trilling tune that suits all occasions while the fourth track, ‘Yenko‘ is a dance-to-the-beat record with the firth song ‘Lafa‘ being for the youth to digest the comforting vibe it comes with.
Big Ghun was raised in Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He read Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Directing at National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI). He completed it in 2019. Big Ghun, formerly known as Kobby Stone started music at a tender age, he was part of a rap group called Young Khalibenz. He has been nominated twice at the maiden edition of the Tertiary Music Awards.
In 2019, Big Ghun joined TNR Music, a record label owned by TiC. He released his first single; “Walk Off” featuring TiC under the label and also released “Bombastic” featuring Zeal of VVIP fame. Big Ghun has worked with Nero X, Kelvyn Boy, among others. ‘MOE’ is a dope project you will want to add to your playlist and play endlessly.
